Random: Hey Reece, I have had alopecia severly on my face, neck and sideburn for 14 months. I have alopecia areata (aloepcia barbae so far???) Most of the hair has come back but it has come back unpigmented and has stayed this way for months. May 6, 2015 14:50:09 GMT

Random: I honestly dont recall is staying completely bald for very long at all. It look like its bald because i have a dark complexion and thick dark hair. After months of searching and appointments i still cant really tell if this is a good sign or not. May 6, 2015 14:51:52 GMT

Random: Im curious also as to why most sites say its important to catch it early. Why? they cant do anything about it when its on my face. Even minoxidil isnt really practical because i have hair it just has no color. May 6, 2015 14:53:16 GMT

Random: Reece, did your alopecia spread before white hair appeared in spots? Once you noticed regrowth did you notice it stop spreading? We have very similar loss patterns, im now at 14 months with left and right spots on jawline, neck, sideburn. 70% lost. May 6, 2015 14:55:52 GMT

Reece: HI there - sorry for the later reply. MOst of my hair came back white initially. Yes my alopecvia started before the white hairs, I had white hairs which grew into patches that were previously totally bald. I did notice that spreading stopped when Jul 9, 2015 10:17:02 GMT

I have been coming to this site for over a year and a half as I started losing my hair/facial hair April 2015... Nothing worked, I could eliminate things from my diet but the loss continued...
